Isaac Ntahobakulira, MSc, Lecturer

Isaac Ntahobakulira joined the National University of Rwanda School of Public Health in 1998 when the school was running an undergraduate program and is currently a lecturer in the Department of Community Health and the coordinator of the MPH program.
Mr. Ntahobakulira is an environmentalist with expertise in water and sanitation evaluation in Rwanda. Some of the courses he lecturers are: Environmental and Occupational Health, Scientific Problem Solving, Team Building and Qualitative Research Methods.
Mr Ntahobakulira is also an experienced field epidemiologist and has conducted several household and health facility based surveys. He recently co-authored and submitted for peer review journal publication a manuscript on ‘Prioritization of disasters and their management in Rwanda’ and an abstract on ‘Assessment of Rwanda’s Strategy of Information, Education and Communication for Ingrained Healthy Behaviour Change.’
Mr. Ntahobakulira holds a Bachelor of Public Health from the National University of Rwanda and a Master of Public Health with concentration in Environmental Health from Université Laval, Québec-Canada.
